While in the Chicago area, we were happy to invite the University of Illinois-Chicago Downtown Voices into the mobile studio. We talked about them about how the group got started, and what the scene is like for a Chicago collegiate group not from one of the a cappella mega-schools. In late 2015, we brought the Berkeley Prep School Mello Divas (from Florida) into the mobile studio to break down everything they are up to - from recording to touring to competing. They have an impressive history and do a lot, so we went through it all. They also sang some of their current music for us.
